Shoulder support with rotation limitation function - Omomed®
The Omomed® shoulder support limits shoulder and arm movements and is individually adjustable with two different buckle positions. This allows the shoulder support to be optimally adapted to the user's needs. Thanks to its soft mesh fabric design, the compression support is suitable for wearing under clothing. The intelligent system prevents the straps from tightening in the underarm and chest areas, increasing comfort for everyday use under clothes.

The strap system limits shoulder movement and promotes joint regeneration. The shoulder support, with its compressive mesh fabric, also helps to improve the body's proprioception, which in turn promotes the joint's own targeting and stabilization.

Characteristics:
- Limitation and prevention of harmful movements thanks to adjustable and marked limitation of external rotation, abduction and anteversion of the shoulder joint
- Elastic mesh exerts gentle local compression on superficial soft tissues to limit and counter swelling and reduce muscle tension
- Corrects postural deficits in the shoulder, with precise centralization of the humeral head in the glenoid cavity and relief of shoulder pain
Indications:
- Conservative/Postoperative After Proximal Humeral Head, Scapula, or Glenoid Fractures and AC Joint Dislocations
- Conservative with anterior shoulder dislocation and chronic anterior subluxation, as well as painful arthrosis of the shoulder
- Postoperative period after shoulder stabilizations, rotator interval reconstruction, biceps tendon anchor refixation
Contraindications:
- Conservative and postoperative treatment of posterior shoulder dislocation
- Skin diseases or injuries in the area of use, especially with inflammatory symptoms (excessive heating, swelling or redness)
- Sensitivity and perfusion disorders of the arms (e.g. in case of diabetes)
- Lymphatic drainage disorders as well as undiagnosed swellings in soft tissues outside the area of use.
