Characteristics:

Indications:

All indications that require immobilization of the shoulder joint in internal rotation, such as:

  • Non-surgical treatment after anterior shoulder dislocation and/or chronic subluxation
  • After rotator cuff repair
  • Acromioclavicular joint dislocation (non-surgical, post-operative)
  • Scapula fractures (non-surgical, post-operative)
  • Humeral head fractures (non-surgical, post-operative)
Contraindications:
  • All indications specifically requiring abduction and/or external rotation
  • Non-surgical and post-operative treatment of posterior shoulder dislocation
