DorsoLumbar Orthosis - DonJoy® OSTEOSTRAP (Taylor type)

With its innovative modular design, the DonJoy® Osteostrap utilizes a set of adjustable straps to aid active relief and postural correction of the thoracic spine. Easy to use, comfortable and available in a wide range of sizes, this orthosis offers patients suffering from osteoporosis and other debilitating back conditions the support they need to help them live a normal, active life.

Characteristics:

• Reverse shoulder straps allow adjustable tension via hook and loop fastening straps to pull the shoulders back and straighten the back, thus aiding in the correction of kyphotic posture.
• Semi-rigid aluminum back frame, which can be shaped to fit the individual curvature of the back, providing support and assisting in active relief of the thoracic spine.
• Adjustable lumbar belt, which utilizes accessible finger pockets and fastening straps to provide adjustable spine support.
• Modular design, which allows for 15 combinations of lumbar belt and back frame sizes to accommodate spine lengths from C7-S1 as well as a wide range of waist circumferences.
• Visual adjustment points: Clear 1-2-3 color-coded point symbols guide the user through the 3-step application of the brace.
• Crocodile strap closures allow customization of strap length and position for convenient individualized adjustment.
• Carbon yarn fabric, interwoven with carbon yarns providing monoelasticity, making the fabric elastic in one direction while maintaining support in the other.
