Orthosis composed of a padded metal structure, designed to reduce or correct the deformity of the Pectus Carinatum or keel chest.
It has an adjustable metal structure, padded anteroposterior and side plates, bilateral zipper-type closures and adjustments and incorporates removable straps.
Allows easy and effective control of anteroposterior pressure.
One size (for chest circumference between 62 and 89cm).
Indications:
- Keel thorax or Pectus carinatum.
- Protrusion of the sternum and cartilaginous portions of the ribs.
- Conservative treatment of chest deformities.
Effects: Exerts corrective pressure on the chest in the anteroposterior direction. Helps reduce or correct the deformity produced in the chest in patients with pectus carinatum.
