Ankle and Foot Night Orthosis (AFO) - Pediatric

Made from 4 mm high-density polyethylene, anti-slip sole, foam interior lining, Velcro adjustment straps for better dorsal flexion regulation.

Its function is like a progressive positional splint, it can be used to prevent equinus foot and in situations where there is a need to avoid muscle shortening, especially at the level of the muscles in the plantar flexors, which tends to happen during periods of long rest.

Indications:

• Recommended for situations where there is a need to maintain or increase the angle of dorsal flexion and to control the ankle joint at night.
• Prevents plantar flexion by keeping the ankle in a neutral position depending on the patient's situation, passively stretching the plantar fascia and calf muscles during the night.

How to take measurements?
Width: Measure from heel to toe.
Height: Measure 1cm below the knee to the heel.
