Rigid Ligament Knee Brace - Genucontrol®

Characteristics:

• The central structure of the Genucontrol® orthosis is made of high-strength aluminum.
• The ends of the orthosis, made of black polymer, adjust to the limb when the straps are tightened.
• The Synergetic Suspension Tape is attached to the outside of the frame and is designed to pass between the lower shell of the orthosis and the leg. It is also oblique to follow the natural contour of the top of the calf. This tape should be tightened at the flexion crease behind the knee.

Limitation angles:

• Graduations in extension: 0°, 10°, 20°, 30°, 40°.
• Flexion graduations: 0º, 45°, 60°, 75°, 90°.

Indications:

• Knee joint instability following injuries to the cruciate and/or collateral ligaments (ACL, PCL, MCL, LCL).
• After operations on the ligaments (ACL, PCL, MCL, LCL) or meniscus.
• After operative treatment for kneecap dislocation.
• Arthrosis of the knee joint.
• Functional therapy of knee injuries.
