mediven angio® - CCL2 Compression Stocking - Diabetics

mediven angio is a medical compression stocking for the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency. Its exclusive features were developed to meet the needs of patients with mild to moderate peripheral arterial disease (PAD) and/or concomitant diabetes mellitus.
Provides effective compression therapy for the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency, taking into account changes in the arterial system, as well as sensitivity disorders, especially in the area of ​​the feet and toes (e.g. diabetic peripheral polyneuropathy).

Characteristics:

• Merino wool lining across the entire foot, from the toes to above the ankle - to reduce pressure zones and prevent injuries to bony prominences (e.g. ankle, metatarsal joint)
• Flat, extra-long seam for a perfect anatomical fit and optimal pressure relief on toes and joints
• Ribbed structure with high longitudinal elongation - makes it easy to put on and take off
• Soft coating on the entire bottom of the sock - from the toes to the waistband, for high wearing comfort
• High waistband that guarantees a firm fit and ideal pressure distribution, avoiding constrictions
• 90° angle in the heel area that guarantees even distribution of the fabric in the heel and instep area
• Two foot lengths available - for optimal fit and additional pressure relief on the toes
• Class 2 compression stockings (20 - 30 mmHg)
• Closed toe cap (foot).
• Available in beige and black.

Indications: Chronic venous disease: C0s - C5 according to CEAP

Contraindications:

• Advanced peripheral arterial occlusive disease (if one of the following parameters is present: IPTB <0.5, ankle blood pressure <60 mmHg, toe pressure <30
• mmHg or TcPO2 <20 mmHg on the dorsum of the foot)
• Decompensated heart failure (NYHA III + IV)
• Septic phlebitis
• Phlegmasia cerulea dolens
