Non-elastic Compression Foot - circaid® juxtalite® ankle foot wrap (AFW)

The compression system is used to compress the foot in patients with venous diseases. The device is made up of a series of non-elastic interlayer bands, which extend from the center of the piece outwards. The device must wrap around the foot from the base of the toes to above the ankle, overlapping the leg piece.

Indications:

• Chronic venous insufficiency
• Varicose veins
• Lipodermatosclerosis
• Venous leg ulcer/ Mixed leg ulcer
• DVT / Thrombosis prevention
• Post-thrombosis syndrome
• Post-sclerotherapy
• Dependent edema

Contraindications:

• Severe peripheral arterial disease
• Decompensated heart failure
• Septic phlebitis
• Phlegmasia cerula dolens
• Untreated infection of the leg and/or foot
• All situations in which increased venous or lymphatic return is undesirable
• Suspected DVT or known, untreated acute DVT
