Wrist and forearm immobilizer - medi Manumed RFX

Characteristics:

• The Manumed RFX is a wrist orthosis for immobilization in at least two directions of movement.
• The orthosis combines maximum stability with a high degree of wearing comfort.
• Manumed RFX provides a high degree of immobilization and is an effective alternative to traditional plaster casts.
• Suitable for fractures of the distal radius and forearm, as well as in all indications requiring stable immobilization of the wrist and/or forearm.
• Stable immobilization of the wrist and distal forearm.
• Reduces edema and inflammation.

All indications in which it is necessary to immobilize the wrist in at least two directions of movement with free movement of the fingers, such as:

• Immobilization in case of sprains
• Tendinitis, tendovaginitis
• After distal radius fracture and distal forearm fracture (non-surgical, post-operative)
• Arthrosic changes in the wrist area
• Carpal tunnel syndrome (non-surgical, post-operative)
• Triangular fibrocartilage (TFCC) injuries
• Guyon's canal syndrome

Contraindications:
Unstable fractures in the hand area.
