Characteristics:

• The ROM Walker serves for early functional mobilization through the adjustable ROM (Range Of Motion) joint.
• Thanks to the anterior and posterior leg splints and the Velcro straps arranged in a circle, controlled compression is achieved.
• The raised sole at the front stimulates physiological gait (computer-calculated radius).
• Optionally fixed articulation angle or partial excursion; This allows for early functional mobilization
• Plantar flexion: 0°, 10°, 20°, 30°, 40°
• Dorsal flexion: 20°, 10°, 0°
• Immobilization with every 10° adjustment
• The ROM Walker adapts individually to the state of the edema and allows for problem-free wound inspection and body hygiene. Simple handling and pleasant use.

Indications:

• After fibula fractures (post-operative and non-surgical)
• After talocrural joint dislocation fractures
• After injuries to the instep and metatarsal as well as the tarsus (non-surgical)
• After ligament, soft tissue and tendon injuries treated surgically
• Monitoring the treatment of talus fractures, calcaneal fractures and internal ankle fractures
• For early functional therapy in case of Achilles tendon rupture (non-surgical/post-operative)

Contraindications:

• Unstable fractures or fractures of the tibia or fibula
• Soft tissue defects and wound healing disorders
• Existing lymphatic drainage disorders
• Sensitivity and perfusion disorders of the legs or feet (e.g. in the case of diabetes)
