Medi protect.CAT Walker boot - inflatable fixed boot

Characteristics:

• The protect.CAT Walker is an orthosis indicated to limit anterior displacement of the ankle.
• Its flat, rounded and non-slip sole allows for natural walking.
• With the integrated air pump and ventilation valve, the patient can easily regulate the pressure.
• Its four bands guarantee the fixation and stability of the orthosis.
• The protect.CAT Walker has a single-chamber air system that passes through the ankle in both the lateral (outer) and medial (inner) directions, extending to the foot. Includes adjustable or removable finger protection.

Indications:

• After Achilles tendon injuries (post-operative/conservative treatment)
• Stable fractures of the foot and joints, post-operative care in case of fracture (or conservative treatment)
• After ankle joint dislocation 
• After ligament - soft tissue - or tendon injuries (post-operative / conservative treatment)

Contraindications: Unstable fractures or fractures of the tibia or fibula
