Transfer Chair - Toilet

This transfer chair is characterized by its 180º wide opening design, facilitating the transfer and positioning of the patient or person with reduced mobility .

Includes removable toilet bucket, which can be placed or not when necessary, transforming this chair into a toilet chair.

It has a double brake safety system, four-wheel brakes and a lap belt.

Chair adjustable in height, using a hydraulic system, to adapt to the needs of each user. NOT SUITABLE FOR BATHING.

Very comfortable seat, and thanks to its back and footrest, it allows the user to remain seated for long periods of time.

It also includes foldable companion handles, which allow the caregiver to push the chair comfortably.

Instructions for use:

1. Position the chair with the seat open, at the same height as the user's seat, adjusting the height using the levers. Lock the chair.

2. When the height is adjusted, help the user move up to each side of the chair and close it, using the lock located on the back of the chair.

3. Raise the levers completely to transport the user to another location. Deactivate the brakes to begin the transfer.

4. Place the chair in the desired position and adjust its height, until it is touching the surface to which you want to transfer the user. Lock the chair and remove the safety lock so that you can open the chair and transfer the user.

Limitations on using the chair

a) The chair is not designed for extremely weak or bedridden users. The user must be able to sit independently, and be able to lift the buttocks approximately 12.5cm, so that the sides of the chair can slide underneath the user.

b) The sides of the chair need to open in order to transfer the user. A free space of 95cm wide is required to operate the chair, which cannot be obstructed by the armrests of the chair or sofa or walls. Make sure that the sofa, bed, toilet and any other place where you intend to use the chair has the necessary free space to open the chair.

c) The maximum height of the seat from the ground is 60cm; make sure that the height of the bed and any other place of use is less than 60cm high.

d) The rear wheels need to slide under the furniture so that the sides of the chair can pass over and transfer the user. Make sure there is the necessary clearance of 10cm for the chair to slide under sofas, beds or chairs.

e) The chair is designed to be pushed on hard, level ground. It may be difficult to operate the chair on carpets, steps and uneven floors.
