MOOVY Transfer Chair - Bath and Toilet

The Moovy transfer chair is a toilet and bath chair that allows the user to transfer easily.

Its unique design allows the user to be lifted and transported directly from the bed, from a sitting position, without the need to lift or move the patient.

The seat opens at the back of the chair, up to a 360° angle to be able to slide the seat under the patient.

Once the seat is fastened and the backrest is secured by the double buckle belt (double safety), you can transfer the patient in complete safety.

The user can sit comfortably, thanks to the flexible polyurethane backrest, ergonomic seat and footrests.

Variable height, for convenient use over the toilet and to accommodate different bed and chair heights.

The wheels include safety brakes.

It also includes a lap belt and a removable toilet bucket.

Limitations on using the chair

a) The chair is not designed for extremely weak or bedridden users. The user must be able to sit independently, and be able to lift the buttocks approximately 12.5cm, so that the sides of the chair can slide underneath the user.

b) The sides of the chair need to open in order to transfer the user. A free space of 95cm wide is required to operate the chair, which cannot be obstructed by the armrests of the chair or sofa or walls. Make sure that the sofa, bed, toilet and any other place where you intend to use the chair has the necessary free space to open the chair.

c) The maximum height of the seat from the ground is 60cm; make sure that the height of the bed and any other place of use is less than 60cm high.

d) The rear wheels need to slide under the furniture so that the sides of the chair can pass over and transfer the user. Make sure there is the necessary clearance of 10cm for the chair to slide under sofas, beds or chairs.

e) The chair is designed to be pushed on hard, level ground. It may be difficult to operate the chair on carpets, steps and uneven floors.
