Orthosis for Lower Limb Realignment

Features:

• This orthosis for realigning the lower limb is made up of a band and two supports in the thigh area, which are connected through elastic straps that in turn create traction that comes from the inside of both thighs to the back of the band, with the aim of keeping the lower limbs in abduction and consequently correct alignment.
• The band and thigh supports are made from velvet fabric with velcro closures. There are silicone dots inside to prevent the orthosis from moving or rotating when it is in use.
• The band is padded in the lumbar area for greater comfort.
• The straps that connect with the supports in the thigh area are elastic and made from polyamide and elastane fabric, and include an elastic velvet strip inside.

Indications:

• In situations where there is a malfunction in the alignment of the lower limbs due to neurological disorders.
• The objective of the orthosis is to provide a more functional gait pattern with greater autonomy in daily activities.
• Gait disorders that require positioning of the lower limbs in abduction in patients with cerebral palsy.
• Spina bifida.
• Disorders during embryonic development.
• Hypotonic muscles.
• Other rare diseases.
