Characteristics:

• Immobilization and stabilization of the lower third of the leg, ankle and foot.
• Fixed supports at 90°.
• Metatarsal dorsiflexion limited to a minimum.
• Non-slip curved sole that allows the patient to walk naturally and comfortably.

• Acute ankle sprains.
