ROM Articulated Walker Boot - MaxTrax

Boot with back-flexion adjustment joints in both directions and enveloping leg cushion.

Characteristics:

• Adjustability from 45° of plantar flexion to 30° of dorsiflexion in 7.5° increments
• Blocking possible at 0°, 7.5°, 15°, 22.5° and 30° of plantar or dorsal flexion.
• The malleable vertical supports can be adjusted to standard height to accommodate shorter tibias/fibulae.
• Padded inner/outer sole.
• Seamless heel sleeve.
• Shock-absorbing sole and wide insole to accommodate edema or bandages, designed to facilitate walking.
• Bilateral model.

Indications:

• Ideal after Achilles tendon repair for controlled rehabilitation.
• Post-operative/post-traumatic immobilization of the foot/ankle.
• Severe ankle/foot sprain.
• Stable fracture of the lower third of the leg.
• Conservative treatment of ankle/foot fracture.
• Severe ankle/foot tendinopathy.
