Tilting Hyperextension Orthosis (Jewett) - medi 4C flex

The medi 4C flex is a hyperextension orthosis. The product is exclusively intended for use as an orthotic adjustment of the lumbar/dorsal spine and only on intact skin.

Includes movable hip bar for more comfort in the sitting position.

The width of the chest bars are adjustable.

Indications:

• Compression fractures of stable lumbar vertebrae of the thoracic spine and middle and lower lumbar spine
• Temporary postoperative immobilization
• Non-operative in inoperable or post-operative spinal tumors and metastases
• Axial stabilization in cases of osteoporotic sintering of the thoracic and lumbar spine

Contraindications: Unstable fractures of the dorsolumbar spine with or without neurological deficits.
