Characteristics:

• The medi Epico ROM®s is an elbow orthosis for mobilization or immobilization of the proximal radioulnar joint.
• Adjustable in extension and flexion in increments of 10º between 0º and 120º. Thus the range of movement can be adapted to therapeutic indications.
• The soft fabric hand rest ensures great wearing comfort - even when there is edema in the hand.
• The non-slip coating on the forearm can be reduced to suit the user's individual fit.
• This ensures effective support daily and during physiotherapy and mobilization exercises.

Indications:

• Surgical refixation of central and lateral epicondylitis
• Conservative treatment of elbow dislocations
• Surgical treatment of elbow fractures
• Reconstruction of the ulnar or radial collateral ligaments
• Surgical treatment of biceps or triceps rupture
• Conservative/postoperative treatment of radial head fracture
• Postoperative treatment after prosthesis implantation
• Conservative/postoperative treatment of distal humeral fracture

Contraindications:

• Concomitant neurological years
• compartment syndrome
