What is the supinated step?

The supinated step, also known as supination, is the movement that the foot performs “outward” during the act of walking. This variation occurs naturally and may be the result of misalignments in the ankle or knee. By overloading the side of the foot, excessive supination can lead to the development of some pathologies, such as corns and bunionette.
