Finger extension splint - ORT03

Finger extension ferrule.

Characteristics:

• The splint increases the extension of the proximal interphalangeal joint and slightly extends the MCP of the metacarpophalangeal joint.
• Splint extends from the metacarpal head to the proximal interphalanx joint.
• Composed of lined yarn for greater comfort.
• Contoured center pad distributes pressure evenly across the PIP joint.
• Tension can be adjusted by slightly bending the material.

Indications:

• Finger extension tension at the PIP joint
• Buttonhole deformity (allows FI flexion)
• Rehabilitation of the fingers
