Finger extension splint - ORT03
Finger extension ferrule.
Characteristics:
- The splint increases the extension of the proximal interphalangeal joint and slightly extends the MCP of the metacarpophalangeal joint.
- Splint extends from the metacarpal head to the proximal interphalanx joint.
- Composed of lined yarn for greater comfort.
- Contoured center pad distributes pressure evenly across the PIP joint.
- Tension can be adjusted by slightly bending the material.
Indications:
- Finger extension tension at the PIP joint
- Buttonhole deformity (allows FI flexion)
- Rehabilitation of the fingers
