Positioning pad for shoulder immobilization

Characteristics:

• Allows you to position the shoulder at 90° in relation to the frontal plane, releasing the posterior capsule for ideal positioning
• The medi SLK 90 is an orthosis for immobilizing and relieving the shoulder joint.

Indications: All indications in which immobilization and relief of the shoulder joint in abduction with optional external rotation is necessary, such as:

• After rotator cuff reconstruction
• After shoulder stabilization surgery
• After anterior shoulder dislocation (non-surgical)
• Fracture of the end of the humerus (non-surgical, post-operative)
• After implantation of shoulder prostheses
• Postoperative period after stretching the acromioclavicular joint
• Biceps tenodosis
• Shoulder impingement syndrome (non-surgical, post-operative)

Absolute contraindications:

• Hook posterior shoulder dislocation
• Shoulder instability in combination with M. Parkinson

Contraindications:

• All indications that expressly require internal rotation or abduction of more than 15°.
• Irreducible posterior dislocation of the shoulder
• Shoulder instability in the case of M. Parkinson's disease
