Bunnell Extension Ferrule - with springs

Bunnell extensor ferrule for the proximal interphalangeal joint (PIP), indicated for cases of sections or tearing of the finger extensor tendon at the level of the middle phalanx in the recovery or rehabilitation process, as it provides resistance. It is also indicated for bruises with partial rupture of the extensor in the proximal interphalangeal joint, as well as for stiffness.

Ferrule for dynamic extension, which simultaneously allows active flexion. Includes elastic joint contractures.

The ferrule is symmetrical and can be used on both the right and left sides.

Indications:

• Sections of the finger extensor tendon with or without bone tearing.
• Retractile capsulitis.
• Stiffness and flexion contracture of the proximal and distal interphalangeal joint.
• Post-traumatic or post-surgical injuries .
