Immobilizing Pulse of the Metacarpophalangeal Joints in Extension and Flexion

Characteristics:

• Made from velvet fabric lined on the inside with very resistant and soft ring-spun cotton, with micro velcro closure and safety strap.
• Independent finger splint in metal covered in velvet with micro velcro fastening system.
• The splints are made of moldable aluminum, allowing adjustment in both extension and flexion of the metacarpophalangeal and interphalangeal joints.

Effects: Immobilization in full extension or flexion of the metacarpophalangeal and interphalangeal joints. Using individual finger splints, we can select those that are necessary according to the finger or fingers to be immobilized. Since the splints are independent, it is possible to immobilize the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th fingers, adapting the necessary splint and fixing it using the micro-velcro fixation system.

Indications:

• In situations where immobilization of the metacarpophalangeal and interphalangeal joints is necessary.
• Finger fractures, dislocations, traumatic injuries, capsular ligament injuries, metacarpal fractures, retractable scars in burns, bursitis.
• Immobilization in post-operative situations.
• Dupuytren's syndrome.
