DonJoy® OA Adjuster™ 3 Knee Stabilizing Orthosis
The DonJoy® 4-point support system. Knee protection with an inefficient ACL
Users with ACL inefficiency have anterolateral instability, which results in knee flexion. Countering this rotation and directly controlling the instability of an ACL-inefficient knee using an orthosis is extremely difficult. This is why DJO ligament orthoses prefer to indirectly stabilize the knee, thanks to the Biomechanical 4-Point Support System. The 4-Point Support System is clinically proven to be the most effective system for preventing anterior tibial translation. By effectively reducing and preventing anterior translation, a 4-point orthosis can indirectly prevent or reduce anterolateral instability (endorotation) of a knee with an inefficient ACL. This allows the patient to regain stability in the joint
Characteristics:
- •Clinically proven: DonJoy® Adjuster™ technology provides adjustable discharge that can vary condylar separation depending on the user's needs.
- The 4-point lever system provides ligament stability combined with the low-profile joints and dual vertical design allow for a personalized fit suitable for all activity levels.
- The use of nano MAG™ Technology on the weight-bearing side, combined with the durability of the aluminum structure, results in lightweight functionality with maximum strength.
- The contoured design adapts perfectly to the calves, avoiding migration of the orthosis and maximum comfort.
Indications:
- Moderate to severe uni-compartmental OA instabilities (osteoatrosis), providing significant unloading and ligament stability in severe circumstances and for prolonged periods of time.
- Severe uni-compartmental osteoarthritis.
