PIUMA UP is a dynamic mattress topper for preventing pressure ulcers, with a motor included.
- Recommended for home and institutional use, such as long-term care units, nursing homes, hospitals.
- It is indicated for prevention in users at low to moderate risk and treatment of pressure ulcers up to grade II of UPPs (pressure ulcers).
- Consisting of 20 independent cells that fill and empty alternately in a 12-minute cycle, the pressure is periodically redistributed.
- The holes in the central area allow ventilation and humidity control, offering the user maximum comfort.
- Compact and silent compressor, with recommended pressure indicators depending on the patient's weight.
- With nylon/PU cover, impervious to liquids, permeable to air, with fireproof protection.
- It must be installed on top of a base mattress in good condition.
